STL Export from Inventor 2017 not working

I have just updated Inventor from 2015 to 2017.

I was so happy and excited about the improvements on 3D printing ... my first trial is saving a small part as STL ro print it.

NO LUCK , IT does NOT work

I have double-checked because I was not believing it.

In my book if a program saves a file it is able to read it.

Inventor 2017 does not feel like reading (properly) the file that has just saved.

Check these files out: (some are 2015 and some 2017)

Please, Autodesk guys solve it, or correct me if I am wrong.

What settings are  you using to save.

I just saved the two part and they open fine for me (files attached saved from 2017).

Can you try an experiment with a simple cube and attach the *.ipt file and the resulting *.stl file here?

Hi Joc - the wheel with the curved hub doesn't appear in your attachments, could you add the .ipt?

These are the two I see and they both export fine:

Wheel 1 FLAT.ipt

Wheel 1 FLAT.PNG

Wheel 1.ipt

Wheel 1.PNG

Thanks,

Indy

Thanks for sharing.

I can open them and they look OK.

Problem is I can't save STL.

Could you share your configuration for STL export?
