Still Can't loft. Issue with Close loop, I think

So apparently after going through weeks of teaching myself lofting and gathering all the input I can get from you all, I'm still need to learn a lot.  If you look at the picture, it may look like a simple lofting graph.  But for some reason, I can't get the side guideline to be selected.  I checked on the intersecting and it all looks like it's intersecting nicely including zooming it.  Looks like my sideline is somehow not intersecting even though I thought I have already intersect them.  What did I miss?  Can someone please enlighten me?  Many thanks again, everyone.

P.S.: Looks like the forum is still having issue with attaching an IPT file.

That's a lot of steps in order to just loft the simple object or it does require that many steps in order to loft it correctly.
