Split solids using multiple tools

Hi All,

I am constantly wanting to use the split tool to split off multiple bodies from a single work feature. is it possible to split the attached into 5 solids without having to use the split tool multiple times.

Thanks,

Fletcher

I don't think so. You will need to split it up each time.

I think that the ideal is to do it separately, and thus you would have the opportunity to save the pieces at the same time.
You could try to cut into several parts at the same time as long as the reference line is continuous, however I don't think it will generate all 5 parts because you can only give one direction to the cut.

Cheers

It's the same if you want to split a face to maybe indicate the extent of painting or plating. It would be really useful to be able to pick multiple sketches within the split command.
