Spline not precise in Inventor DWG

i seem to have run into a problem with inventor 2017 DWGs. i revolved a part made up of a spline and created a Dwg so that i could bring the part into AutoCAD. I noticed that the bottom of the part was not matching the profile of the roll, but it would match if i change the view to Raster. The height of the misalignment is about 1" tall. Unfortunately, i cannot use a raster view in AutoCAD, but i have found a workaround by exporting the sketch of the profile to a DWG and working form there.

i recently updated Inventor to 2017.3. I am not sure if this could be something new due to this update.

Possible the setting to use "Offline Only" in the Document Setting>Drawings>Shaded Views: was changed from "Offline Only"

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

that doesn't seem to have done anything. Creating a section view down the middle of the parts works as well.

Hi @Anonymous

Could you please share your files so that we can review them?

So, it sounds like your ultimate goal is to reuse the Inventor drawing in AutoCAD. What happens if you save the drawing as AutoCAD DWG? Did you try to add "REPLACE SPLINE=No" in the export configuration file (.INI)?
