Spline length dimension

I have a series of formed sheet metal parts as part of an ipart (handle)

i want to be able to put a length in the description. (=<thick> x <width> x <length>)

i created a construction line in the middle of the thickness to give an overall length.

While i can measure it, i want to be able to dimension it.

Can I? doesn't seem like.

If your sketch that goes down the middle of the part that you say is made up of construction lines, I know in the drawing you can branch out the browser to the part and RC on it and say "Get Model Sketches".  If you can do that and show the sketch in the drawing, you should be able to dimension to it as well.

I am not aware of anything built-in to Inventor.

Hi! If the spline is 3D, there is a solution. Make sure it is a fit-point spline. You can place a length dimension to the spline. Is it what you were looking for?
