Spline from offset won't let me select it with mirror

The spline in green was created from the offset command, but it won't let me select it to be mirrored. The line below it was created from the same offset command and I can select it just fine. This is the way I've done it in Fusion 360, so maybe the workflow is a bit different in Inventor. Am I missing a step?

Hi! This is a limitation in 2D Sketch. Offset curve in Inventor 2D sketch is a like a driven curve. The constraint system would be unnecessarily complicated when a driven curve drives other curve (mirrored). And, if not managed properly, it can lead to cyclic relationship.

The workflow right now is to mirror the spline curve and then create an offset curve on the mirrored side.
