Specify tightening torque in assembly 2d drawings.

Hello,

I working on updating engineering documentation and I have a problem regarding specify tightening torque on bolts in an assembly.

To solve it, I have the following ideas, but was wondering if anyone else had this issue and maybe a better way of solving it.

I want to have all the bolts in an assembly specified with tightening torque. To do so I have the following options as I see it:

  • Add notes on all bots in the assembly (very time consuming and manual – not good)
  • Add a specified Coolum in the BOM list with tightening torque (could work, but again very manual)
  • Maybe use a Hole table in some way to display bolts And tightening torque, (I have not figured out quite how yet)

Anyone have any good ideas or experience with this?

Does the torque change for the same bolt in different assembly?

For example, 1/2-13 Grade 8 SHCS, same torque in all assembly?
