I want to draw three small circles in the area indicated by blue line. For reference I tried to draw two construction lines perpendicular to each other going through the centre point and circumference of the big circle. But I couldn’t find a snapping point in circumference of the big circle.

How can I find out hard snaps on the circumference of the big circle?

What is the purpose of having 3 different sketches for a simple sketch?

Your drawing file is 2015 or 2016 version?

Hi,

Look at the screencast.

You can project the X- and Z-axis for this.

if you want to do it manually you can make two lines and make them coincident to the center point of the circle.

You can also make three different holes with one sketch if you want, make the sketch visible or share the sketch for that.

Because you have 3 didn't sized holes.

So I used a point to make them, and dim' them, per the page you posted.    The didn't have to project or snap anything.   When I created the sketches it came with the outline of the larger circle, which is what we want and it's center.

I did Chamfer them all.

For a tutorial about snap contraints and that ..this isn't a great example.  It look decent, just not for the snaps ..in my opinion

.05 x .05 chamfer ...

so it's a .05 x 45 in my opinion.  I attached it in my model and you can see it via edit Chamfer.

You could do the chamfer 2 ways
