Sketch with parametric curve would not extrude

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create a gear using epicycloid curves in Inventor 2025. I generated the curve using an equation and attempted to extrude it into a solid. However, the extrusion tool isn't recognizing the sketch profile, even though the sketch is fully closed.

I've checked multiple times to ensure the sketch is properly closed, and I’ve also gone through other forum threads, such as this one: Help extruding a sketch profile created by equation curves. I also tried projecting the sketch onto a different work surface, but the result is the same — the extrusion still doesn't work.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this and successfully extrude the sketch into a solid? I've attached the part file for reference.

Use Boundary patch and Thicken tools.
