Sketch Symbol text scale

Every once in a while a sketch symbol, in this case the attached Approval Drawing symbol, will change the scale of the text so it becomes larger than the border.

Does this have to do with the text scale of the applicable drawing, or is it limited to the symbol itself?

How do I fix it?

 yes you clearly have inconsistencies in styles in your drawings..

If that sketched symbol text was created with (for example) "Note Text" and when created "Note Text" was .1" tall..

When placed into a style with an inconsistent size for "note text" the text will grow/shrink based on what the current local style is in the drawing..

So place it in a drawing where "Note Text" style is .2" tall and it will double in size..
