Simple loft issue

Good evening all, 

I am trying to loft a simple shape to cut a section of my part out. I have checked to make sure my loops are closed and tried using both the centerline and guide rail method. However, the issue arises in the fact that I can not select both sketches at the same time. The two sketches are sketch 13 and 14.  I also downloaded a model from another loft issue thread and when I deleted the working loft that they created, I could not recreate it due to it not allowing me to pick more than one sketch. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Does this workflow not work for you?. You need to "click to add sketch" after selecting the first one. And ideally should set your construction sketches as such.

Yup, that did it. I was not clicking add sketch after selecting the first one.
