Shutting down server, changing design data and template folder

Hi,

Needs a quick answer on this. We have moved our Vault and Job server to another place. And today I shut down our past Vault server at work.

The template and design data files, seems to be linked to that old server. How do I change that?

When I go to Tools -- > applications options --> file. All there seems to be linked to my disc C: station,

But when I go to File -->  Manage --> projects, and take a look under Folder options, Design data and Templates are linked to the server.

How do I change that?

Hi again,

I have now managed to change the settings.

Found the Vault.ipj file, changed to worked in progress, checked out, and opened it.

I copied the design data folder and template folder to another local server.

Changed the path to the new server, checked it in, and changet the Vault.ipj file to released.

But now the Inventor will not open... Just the loading screen of Inventor, but the white lloading line in the bottom standing still.

What to do?

This seems to be an issue with Inventor and not Vault. I will move your posts over to the Inventor forum.

Okay, Inventor opens after 5 minutes 😕
It have been taking 30-40 seconds before..

I think there have to be more properties that connects to the old server..

hmmm.

Hi! Could you try something real quick? Create a brand new project using all default options. Close Inventor and restart it. How long does it take? Could you share a project file you are working with?

Many thanks!
