Showing part of a part to cut off.

Hello guys,

I am wondering on how to show in drawing, where we need to cut off some part off. Attached are the images of the item.

If you are on 2022 or later, model states is perfect for this. 

Create a new model state.

Create the extrusion to cut it.

In the new Model state the feature should be unsuppressed. 

Switch to old model state and suppress it. 

In your drawing place the cut part. 

Then click the overlay option and use this to display the original part as an overlay.
