I tried model a sheet metal parts across a frame generated structure in assenmbly file but could not perform end treatment such as miter, trim to the projected end of frame which intercent with the sheet plates. Can someone kindly help on how to perform this exercise appropriately. ie Have a combination of both sheet metal parts and frame structure worked together

See sample file for consideration.

When posting an assembly or drawing file, you also need all the components that make up that assembly or drawing.   These files only contain the links to the components.   Also when posting, please include the Inventor version you are using.

The only way to get the Frame-Gen commands to work is with items author'd within the Frame-Gen.

Someplace floating around in YouTube is a video how to author sheet-metal items within Frame-Gen.
