Hello,
I am currently creating a "washing net" as a sheet metal part.
My workflow was to create the bottom plate and then add 4 flanges on all sides.
I set the 4 flanges to an angle of 90 degrees, unfolded it to make some cut-outs, refolded, and now the angle is 89,998xxx.
I am running inventor 2022 Build 153
I cant figure out what went wrong, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi
This bug has been reported before.
The model is good.
Make sure you have all updates for your version installed.

That is odd, I do not seem to be missing any updates for the 2022 version.
I see you are running it in 2024, I might have to make a copy and migrate it to 2024, to see if the issue persists.
Update: When I migrate the IPT to 2024 the issue still persists.
Also when re-downloading my own uploaded file the angles still does not match.
But when moving my EOP marker to before my unfold/refold the angle is 90 degrees as it should be.
So the issue seems to be happening in the refold feature.
Current update level is 2022.4.1. But it doesn't change the issue you're showing here.

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the file! This does look like a bug to me. Though the angular imprecision might be minor. The actual linear deviation of such imprecision can become much bigger on a long flange. I will work with the project team to understand the behavior better.
Many thanks!
