The file provided is not an actual sheet metal part..  Did you want to design the box using sheet metal tools within Inventor?

Also you need to give us more details about this flange design.  You may understand what you want but you only provided very limited design intent information.  Do you have an example of what you want to accomplish?

Update:  Just realize there was a duplicate posting going on and @blair is assisting you over here

Hi,

Indeed I have done the attached part, but I couldn't unfold it successfully. It is unfolded but can not be refolded. Could you please tell me where is my error?

Hello,

I Flat patterned and unfolded, then refolded your part. And there was no problem.

I have attached your part unfolded, then refolded.

What error did it come up with when you done it?

Hello,

It is because the flanges intersect when it is unfolded.

I will change the flanges to show you.

I have attached the part with flanges that will not intersect.

If you unfold the flanges 10 to 14 you will see.

They were the flanges that was causing you a problem before.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks for you Mr. Tomas.

But I don't know how to control the small flanges. Some times it comes with oblique end edges as the part that I sent and some times it  comes straight as your part, So how to control it?

Well, Thank you again.

I have discovered how to do the small flange oblique or strait, where at Flange dialoge, if I select all the edges at the same time and at the end gives OK, it becomes oblique, and if each time select one edge and gives it Apply, then select the other edge and so on, it becomes straight.

Many thanks for your help and I appreciate your kindness.

Hello,

You're welcome.

Yes, select one edge, then click apply. Then you get straight flanges.

If you select them all at the same time it does a corner seam on them.
