Setting rotation in positional representation

Hello,

I am trying to set up another positional rep. My problem is that when i create and open my position2 rep, i dont know how to correctly position the parts the way i want them. As soon as i activate my position2 rep, Inventor takes away the constrain tool. Why is this?

I have attached a screenshot of a simplified version of what i am tryiing to do. basically the arms pivot around teh big hole, and are held in place witht he pin which goes through the little holes in the arms and the base. I want to show position2 with the arm rotated to align with the second little  hole with the pin in place.

I dont know how i can do this without using the constrain tool. Can anyone help?

I am running inventor pro 2011

Cheers

Set up all the contraints in the Default postional rep, then suppress/unsupress them or override their values to create the positional reps you need.  So if you use an Insert constraint for your pin positions, supress the constraint for position 1 and create an Insert constraint for position 2.  Then supress the new constraint and unsupress the first one.  That's your default pos rep.  Create your new pos rep, activate it, supress Insert1 and unsupress Insert2.  Then you have to go back to the Default in order to save your file (don't know why that is required, but it is, at least in Inv2010).
