Setting content centre

Hi all,

I have a few issues with using custom parts from the content center.

1) Filename

I would like to know how I could set custom content center parts to use an filename from the sequence we always use (with Copy design or saving a file)

I found this

and however I checked the "custom" box, I still do not get this question.

In the content centre editor for we have this expression as file name ""DIN EN 10056-1" & " - " & {DESIGNATION}" for example

I can't delete the column neither can find what I should put if I want to use a sequence number.

2) BOM

If I use 3 pieces equal angle bar 40x60x4 L=400, it is set in such a way I get 1200 in my BOM instead of 3. How can I set the base quantity to "each" by default?

3) Our ERP is set in such a way that, in the case of the previous mentioned angle bar, that we need parameter B, B2, L and Thickness. However, Inventor uses b, ParH, G_L and ParT.

Is there a way I can change the name of the parameters and also have the parameters exported by default?

1. Content Center defines default file name in family table - the FileName column. Image bellow. During place process user can overwrite it.

If you / your company use Vault File Numbering Schema, then Vault "has last word". Means even Content Center defines FileName, Vault overwrites file name, finale FileName is defined by Vault (File Naming Schema)

2. BOM (I have asked my colleague to answer BOM question)

3. Every Content Center family uses template file. List of exported parameters is defined in this family template file. If you want to export other parameters than default G_L, you need to check "Export parameter" in template and replace Content Center family template. Hi! Regarding the BOM quantity, the way the QTY is set up for frame members created by Frame Generator is to calculate quantity by length. The easiest way to get the "each" item quantity is to use Item QTY instead. Go to the BOM table and add the Item QTY column.
