Set an assembly inseparable

I have an assembly, let's say for example, "hello.iam" and its parts "hello_1.ipt", "hello_2.ipt", etc...

Is there a way to set this assembly to be inseparable? From the file itself?

Because we use it from a library folder... Can't do it from other "iam".

I was thinking about make it like a welding, but it gets immovable...

Any sub assembly within an assembly is inseparable unless you step down into the sub assembly and edit it. You could either move the IAM file and it's components to a Library Folder. Or try changing the security setting for the IAM file to Read-Only.

Possibly move it to the Library and when you place it into your current IAM file, set it to flexible.

Not really clear, just taking a guess as to what you what.

Not really clear..

But in Inventor you set an assembly to "inseparable" by opening your assembly and going to tools..document settings.. bill of materials tab and changing its default bom structure to "inseparable"
