Hello,

I've beed messing with this issue for a few days now. I noticed another user had a similar problem, yet it wasn't resolved (or at least it wasn't posted).

Here's the issue

when I open a standard part template i get a message stating it can not be found. But it totally can be found, exactly where it should be in windows. see associated gif.standard-error.GIF

Going forward- when i open a file and begin working I get this message (tempdir attachment), i can sometimes click it closed but other times it exits me from the program. I don't have a disk in D. tempdir.GIF

I really need some help with this.

thanks in advance,

Are you using a project file?  If not I would start there ....

Check your Inventor add-ins..   Take a screen shot of your add-ins (both tabs) and post the screen shots here..

I have to agree with Michael Davis

It looks like a configuration error.

Things to Check:

First place is the Global Application settings/File, I am guessing this is where the issue is

 - Check the Temp location

- Check the Template location.

- Check everything else, but the above are probably the biggest ones.

Then, once you have done that, check the project file configuration.

As Michael mentioned, do you even have one configured?

If not then that's a good place to start, the project file configures the Workspace and any non default file locations, it also allows you to set up shared, search folders, libraries etc.

Attached is a screen capture of my current config for your reference.
