Self extraction disappears.

I have a very vexing problem with my inventor 2016 (student edition). After downloading all three files through autodesk.creative virtual I tried to install it, the self extractor popped up (I selected my destination) then a few seconds after it said initialising it just disappeared, with no pop-up or anything. It just vanishes from my screen and I've tried it up to ten times now.

If you can't even download the software - then your problem most certainly is not the same as the problem described and developed in this thread.

Indeed, I mispoke there. Brain fart. I have it downloaded but cannot
*extract* the files. It appears there is a fault in the self extraction
process.

This issue is not limited to one machine but to two very different setups.

Post screen shot of your 3 download files (if 2016), 2 if earlier releases.

As I said, the exact same version as the OP of this thread.

Both the DLM and Browser Download failed. The DLM never appears in Chrome
or other Firefox. The .sfx files the download via the browser download
never extract.

I was able to get the DLM to work in Internet Explorer, though it seems
Chrome and Firefox are not supported - which is not good. The SFX files are
still worthless.

I already have the software installed. But your programmers need to look at
the SFX self extraction system. Something is wrong there.

I could not care less about any other information in this thread than the direct questions that I ask you.

I normally solve problems step-by-step.

try to copy your file to internal drive of your pc and extract it again - it will work , I did that by chance and it is working

same thing happening here, the self-extractor just simply vanish after a short while of showing "Initializing..."

the weird stuff is the sfx installer was working fine with another newly formatted pc (win7 64bit), and suddenly on this other newly formatted pc its not working (same os).

the software i am installing are Trueview 2019 64bit, the same installer i have been using for many other pc. tried downloading the latest version 2022 64bit, that installer has the same issue as well, i can install it on my personal pc, but the self-extractor disappears with no error message on said newly formatted pc.
