SECTION VIEW PARTIAL SECTION

First time I have encountered this issue with Inventor.

I created a section view and 2 parts the entire bodies are not appearing in the view.

No cropping has been performed. The 2 plates not showing correctly in my screenshot should be cut at the end of the section line.

Also notice the view shows more than the length of the cutting line.

Any ideas?

Disregard this post. I see what going on.
The fact that the section view shows beyond the length of the cutting line threw me off.
Maybe that's an improvement down the line.
Not sure if this post can be deleted.

Sorry about that guys.

Good idea. I forgot about that.

However, you would think that would already be default, only show in reference to the length of the section line.

Hi, I would try right clicking on the assembly under the section view in your browser, and look to see what Section Participation is selected.  If it is set as None, that would explain why the beam extends beyond the cut line.

Oh I've already done that. That was my first check.Next was to verify visibility.

I figured it out though.

The body does not show beyond the endpoint of the cutting line, even though the beams do.

Thank You.
