Section View in an exploded view of an presentation file (IPN)

I've seen some buzz on this topic... My colleague was asking me if Inventor can create an exploded section view in a presentation file (IPN)? Thank you, -Ethan

Hi Ethan,

Within the IPN environment, you can tweak a component but Auto-Explode isn't available. Graphics section view isn't supported either unfortunately.

Okay, thank you. I think it's a good idea to have that ability within the presentation file.

Dear Johnson, I am not asking for "auto-explode" and I am not sure what a "graphics section view" is. I am asking for an exploded view that can be sectioned and a section view that can be exploded in a presentation file. It doesn't have to be auto-explode but I like that idea too. 👍

Hi Ethan,

The graphics section view is the "section view" in assembly or part environment, not the one in the drawing. Currently, such workflow isn't available yet.
