screw M25, thread Hole M25

Hi, again!

I Just I want to be sure if I get it right.

If I use screw M25, I should use thread hole of M25

Right?

that is correct ....

the thread will always equal what the screw/bolt fastener is ...

Clearance holes will be the only one that differs. You'll be slightly larger than the fastener size

Don't cut/extrude a hole of 25mm and then thread M25. This is a classic error that many people make. You won't have any material for the thread. Use the Hole feature as posted. This will create the proper undersized hole for the minor diameter required for taping of the hole. The minor diameter for a M25 thread is 22.797 to 23.975 depending on the thread designation.

Metric M25 thread while is a standard one but is used in the industry so seldom, that it is a good idea to stay clear from it. M24 is a lot more common. As well as M27. Even though M27 thread is the thread from the second row. Which means - M24 is a preferred one.
