Saving idw

When i try to save my idw i get save as copy, why cant i just save.

Any suggestions please

Are you referring to the initial save or a save after you already saved it?

 

If the former, that's how it works.

 

If the latter, I would start looking at read/write permissions.

 

Update:  Sorry I read it as Save As and not Save As Copy..  Did you do something like this?

Is the idw file writable? If it is read-only or it is opened in a different session, it cannot be saved.

Yes its an .idw with balloons. i have a feeling that the problem is caused when there is an interaction when i am using A360. Perhaps there is some sort of conflict. It never used to happen until i started to use A360.

This happened to me when i was editing the assembly and traying to save a drawing of this assembly at same time.

Yes its possible that's the problem that can happen ,but in this case its just purely a .idw drawing, ie there is no model.
