Revolve does not create proper surface

I have created a solid from by revolving a 2D sketch. Then, when i try to modify the solid by editing on of the surfaces i 2D sketch Inventor does not accept the surface of the solid as a "proper" surface, why?

What i really want to do is to "combine" Part1-ver1.ipt with Part1-ver2.ipt.

Your Sketch2 is not fully defined.

Axis of revolution not vertical or horizontal, therefore a conical face is created rather than a planar face.

I noticed in your first part sketches were not constrained.

This is bound to lead to unexpected issues.

@Anonymous,

I'm seeing what @JDMather is seeing as well. You have a 2mm line segment "under" your full length line, and that line is not horizontal, it's at 90.22 degrees.

If you delete the 2mm line, delete the 10mm dimension, add a horizontal constraint to the top line (your revolve line), and add a distance dimension on the bottom, this will put you in great shape.
