Revit Inventor Interoperability

I hope you can help me with a matter that got resolved on the Inventor forum. I can not find any information on the situation I have.

The original mater was the following:

0x8013150d - Cannot import REVIT model in Inventor 2022

I  double checked that the files is installed: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Revit Interoperability 2022\Rx\

See common file attachment.

I downloaded the: Revit Interoperability 2022.0.1 Hotfix for Inventor 2022.

If I want to run the hotfix I get the following: See error message attachment.

I have uninstalled my Inventor and reinstalled it and it showed that my Revit Inventor Interoperability 2022 is already installed.

I hope you can help me with this problem.

Regards.

Hi @Gabriel_Watson

I used Microsoft Fix It when Inventor 2022 was on my pc and it fixed something.

I uninstalled Inventor with some problems and used Microsoft Fix It again and two matters were fixed.

I restarted my pc and checked in control panel that Inventor was successfully uninstalled.

I then check in the program file location that the Revit Interoperability for Inventor 2022 was also uninstalled, see snip below:

(Edited: My apologies I inserted a wrong snip)

I  then started the installation again and saw that it still shows that Revit Interoperability for Inventor 2022 is already installed, see snip below:

Any additional advise?

What do you see when you go to Start Menu > Autodesk > Uninstall Tool? Are you able to select the Revit Interop there under Inventor? I would try uninstalling from this, then reinstalling the Revit Interop back again. You can also run some tool like CCleaner to clean registry and temp files after any uninstall, and perform a reboot just to be safe before reinstalling the add-on.

Finally, I would double-check under "Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features" > Uninstall or change a program > View installed updates to verify there is no Revit Interop there. But I believe it may not show under that area.

Hi @Gabriel_Watson

I got everything to work not on the most practical way, but things played out this way.

My pc was due for a windows upgrade, so our IT guy done that for me, and I started with the Inventor download.

I ran the 2022.2 hotfix and then the Revit Interoperability 2022.0.1 Hotfix for Inventor 2022 with no problems.

Thank you for your interest in the problem I had and the advice you gave.

Go to Inventor 2022 in your manage portal and you'll be able to download it as an extension from there.
