Revision number not matching rev table.

Every time I use a rev table, I start with revision A which shows up in the table and in my title block. When I want to add a new revision to the table, I insert it under the old one. The problem is that the revision in the title block stays the same as the first revision and does not update. If I change the revision in the first row from A to lets say B, the title block does change and shows B. It just doesn't update when I insert new rows.

Is there some extra step that I'm missing?

Hi amarciniakTF6LQ,

Welcome to the fourm.

  1. What method/button are you using to add a Revision Row?
  2. Is the Rev table scope set to Entire Drawing or Active Sheet
  3. Can you attach a drawing here?
  4. What version of Inventor are you using?

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

In response to your first question, I've been right clicking and pressing "insert row". Just now I tried pressing the "add revision rows" button and it works. So I guess that was my problem. Thanks!
