resize title block to sheet size

within idw/model/sheet1/right click/edit sheet goto size box. pick a large sheet & have a reasonbly proportioned title block.
Start new idw but want smaller sheet & have too large a title block.
Can the paper size drive the title block size?

I use the same title block for B and D size sheets. I don't see any difference. My title block was defined in the idw template by offseting lines from the edge of the sheet. I then sketched the different cells of the block based on the lower right hand corner, located from the edge of the paper. when I change sizes, the offset stays constant and the whitespace inside the border shrinks.

If you pull out ANSI standards you will see that the title block on a "B" format takes up a larger part of the format than it does on a "D" format. But then i look at it this way we draw on "D" size formats, but what size do you plot to. It's been years since i've plotted anything bigger than a "B" size. And i've done large products such as Locomotives and maintenance trainers for Fighter planes to Tractor trailer rigs.

I stopped updating my "B" title block back at version 5.3 or 6 after investing all that time making it. Message was edited by: msklein

Hi,

I don't believe there is a way to link the title block size with the
paper size. A work around to try would be to edit the Title Block after
changing the paper size using the Scale option. Select all using a window
select, then select Scale from the Drawing Sketch Panel.

Thanks,

Tanya,

Am I missing something here? There is no "scale" option to select in the Drawing Sketch Panel....not unless I'm missing something.

Scale is a fairly new tool, I think it was added in 2008, but may be there
in R11.

See attached.
