Replaced assembly with associated drawings

I have what appears to be a corrupt Inventor main assembly that contains numerous subassembly models. This main assembly is attached to numerous drawings. I recreated this Inventor main assembly and over wrote the original Inventor main assembly and all seems well.

Except now when I open any drawing originally associated with this main assembly I get a note which I have attached. It reads that not all referenced documents are available or a cyclical dependency was found etc.

Is there a remedy for this? I do not want to loose all my drawings.

Thank you

Hi! The behavior does not sound right but we will need to see an example in order to comment further. The error dialog along does not provide enough information.

Many thanks!

What if you click OK button to open the drawing file, and then resolve the link to your new main assembly?

And also please check your new assembly has the same representations with the old one, otherwise, annotations and dimensions cannot find their references to a representation which does not exist.
