Render en ray tracing issues Inventor 2019

Hello,

I've been using Autodesk inventor for a while now, but I'm keep having issues with my looks of a rendered model. I'm having a sort of blur over my metal paint. Even after 8 hours of rendering on high it's still there, at the 1st 2 renders i didn't have it so i think its not my pc. After the first 2 renders i changed some settings and materials to get a better look. But i don know how to get it normal again. I want it to look like a nice metal paint finish, but cant find a good material to use. Some suggestions would be awesome.

What material are you using?

can you share a partial example file of the area having an issue for others to test?

At first i was using smooth plastic, and rendering looked fine but not like a metal paint finish. I started using Satin Blue and made it grey, after that it shows the blur in de render even when i reverse it back to the smooth plastic. I want to use a good metal paint finish but cant find any, hopefully u can fix the blur and suggest a good material to use.

Providing just the Inventor assembly is no use to us.  It only contains the links to the files..  You need to provide all files (perhaps in a pack n go format)

Hello @Anonymous I see that you are visiting as a new member to the Inventor Forum.
Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Are you using the Ray Tracing within the regular model environment or are you going into Inventor Studio to setup the scene and render? I prefer to use the studio as there is a bit more control over things.

Try changing the Lighting Style to something else like Empty Lab, Old Warehouse, or Grid Light. You can tweak the settings for Exposure and Shadows

Tools > Options > Application Options > Colors > Reflection Environment > Chrome.dds or something else you like.

Your reflection is set pretty high, you can edit these setting at View > Appearance > Shadows/Reflections > Settings...

As for material appearance, you can take a picture of your own actual material and make your own if you want.

If you can attach your parts with Pack & Go as .zip for community members to comment on further that would be helpful.
