Rename Browser Nodes now locks up Inventor Instance

We use the Rename Browser nodes for just about every part we are currently working on.

Everything has typically worked like a charm....until recently.

Now, each time I invoke the command, Inventor locks up completely and all I hear is a "ping" if and when selected. I've waited a lot longer than it use to take for similar sized assemblies and still locked.

No hidden menus requesting input or notice, etc. Zilch.

For example, I have a rather small, simple assembly of 4 basic parts, Rename Browser Nodes would typically rename everything in about 1 to 2 minutes if that. Now, I'm on minute 7 and still locked up.

I'm going to let it crunch for a few more to see if it finishes.

I have to ESC to continue to work and the nodes do not update.

This has been the case for about 2 weeks now.

I've got a couple of users checking into this on their local machines as well.

Other users all works as it should.

Time to start digging locally.

Hi Jim,

This doesn't sound right to me. Please make sure all the critical Windows updates, the latest graphics driver, and all the critical PC vendor updates are installed. Use Windows Disk Cleanup to remove cached files.

Does it matter if Vault Add-In is unloaded?

Many thanks!
