Region Properties - Rotation Angle from projected Sketch Origin to Principal Axes (degrees):

Why do I get a rotation angle from projected Sketch Origin to Principal Axes: 45 degrees? Is that how it is calculated?

I would like to get the Area moments of inertia with the part as drawn (with the X axis "pointing North" not 45 degrees).

I've tried drawing the part differently with no success.

Hi Emanuel,

It is calculated based on the sketch coordinate system. The glossy arrows show the principal directions.
