RECTANGULER AND CIRCULAR PATTERNS

When I use circular or rectangular patterns in a sketch you do not see a preview of hat the patter will look like.

Before 2024 you would see a highlighted pattern

Do not use patterns in a sketch, bad practice

I setup patterns using my sketch to get parameters

Use feature patterns, much easier to edit, can be used for assemblies.

While I agree with @Mario.VanWiechen 's advice, I do use sketch pattern on rare occasions.  When I do, I would like to see the geometry previewed as it is in previous versions.  Definitely a regression.

Hi Anthony,

I must not have followed the steps correctly. I cannot seem to reproduce the behavior on 2024. Do you have Section View enabled? What is the Sketch Opacity level (Tools -> App Options -> Sketch -> Sketch Display)?

A sketch pattern preview in IV 2024 should look something/exactly like one of these two examples:

Very interesting issue-- I tried yesterday before my initial reply, and my experience was the same as @AnthonyHarris90842 -- no visible preview of the sketch pattern.  In order to capture a screen shot to illustrate, I just now tried exactly the same procedure (as far as I can recall) in the same file, and cannot reproduce it.  Previews exactly as expected.
