"Useless" Crash Reports from months ago.

Note to Inventor folks: Please either send these right away (like in a day or two), or not at all. I can't be expected to still have something from 8 months ago (esp. since it crashed and I may have needed to delete/re-create it). Seems like time is of the essence if you need something useful from me in these situations.

I think they're cleaning up.

I got emails and each one is older.

I started to Pack n Go files with the report number.  Write down some notes if possible.

One of the emails hit one.

The other two I can't do anything.

As least they're asking for info.

Another software support will just close them.

Initially, I thought there was something in my error log that peaked their interest. Something specific and declared on the e-mail would greatly help and give credibility to spending time researching. However, I see these kept coming for old crashes, almost like spam, without added value of why it was brought up. I appreciate the effort in not leaving orphaned error reports without closure, but if my error report isn't worth a closer look, I can't dig up my records either.
Many of the reports I file are also intermittent and involving external applications/add-ins, which make the investigation almost impossible without a given focus on what to look for. The automatic logging of error reports should probably verbose a bit more to enable the support&dev teams to ask for pertinent info.

P.S.: this would be interesting to have, @CGBenner... not sure what tags Anji Misra and Chad Stutz have on this forum, but if you could share this with them please (to continue previous talks about the management portal):

I totally understand I wasn't helping:

3/2/2023, you submitted a crash report against Autodesk Inventor 2023.

Hi Folks,

The Autodesk CER system is undergoing some change. The outdated reports were probably leftover from the server update. They are not intended.

Many thanks!

Isn’t there a option to unsubscribe from these e-mails? Anyhow, I think these E Mails are pointless. 1. How should I remember a crash in detail, which happened a week or longer ago. 2. Is any company sharing their files?

Pack n Go the files after the crash, if possible.

I did that a few times.  Add notes on what happened and the report number.
