"Error in view creation" in Inventor 2018 during Detail View generation

Hello,

I was trying to create a detail view from a section view of my Inventor 2018 model but it kept showing "Error in view creation" message from the second view generation after the first creation of a detail view was successful. I've checked the quality of the assembly using ctrl+F7 function. No bad solid was found. Could anyone help me with this?

Hi Bryan,

Other than bad bodies, there are other possibilities leading to the error. Try this. Go to Manage -> Rebuild All. Does it work better now? Check Interference. Are there a lot of components overlapping each other?

If you set the view to Raster (right-click -> Make View Raster), does the error still appear?

This kind of error is usually geometry specific. Please share the files with me directly johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand it better.
