question about ACP test

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I am going to take the inventor ACP test and have the following questions. Would you please guide me if you have any information about the following?

1-How many questions are in the test (Professional One)

2-What is the score for each question? I know that there is some multiple choice and also matching questions and real modelling tasks. But I need to know how many questions will be in each section and what are the scores

3- If anybody could give me an idea about the number of questions and their ratings based on the exam objectives that will be appreciated.

Thank you

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Each question has a different weight.   You need a passing score of 70 or higher or something like that.

The number of question I thought were in 40.

What is your concern about the number of questions and the score?

Update: I would be more concerned about the subject matter.  The Professional Cert requires you to know the basics of Inventor (meaning there's no questions about those workflows).   How long have you been using Inventor?

Update #2:  In addition the test is random and is not always the same...

There are 35 questions.

You have 120 minutes

These are the macro areas, where you can reach 100 points for each

Advanced Modeling
Assembly Modeling
Drawing
Part Modeling
Presentation Files
Project Files
Sheet Metal
Sketching
Weldments

here the sub themes:

There are multiple versions for the exams, each with different content.

71%, I think, is the passing score

2. Exam Objectives    be very familiar with finding iProperties, Measure and using Crl-C and Ctrl-V to copy and paste and Alt-Tab to toggle between Inventor and the test interface (or better yet, hope that it is administered on dual screens).  I am not so sure there are many (if any?) multiple choice questions anymore (getting old - I just did this last month), for most questions it is a copy and paste of a precise value - you have to know you did it correctly and no indication that you are wrong (as there would be in multiple choice if none of the possible selections match your answer).

3. See #2 or search here on the Certiport site for information.

Do not waste time on questions that you are not sure about, or that you know you can do - but they will take an undue amount of time to complete.  Complete all the fast and easy ones first and then go back to the ones that are lengthy or unsure.

Practice Ctrl c and Ctrl v and Alt Tab

Set up the Inventor interface optimized to how you normally work before beginning the exam.

Edit: Well I see @admaiora replied while I was typing....

hello
thanks for your reply
I was not practicing so much in shrink wrapping and also some presentation
and simulation in my works. I am mainly involve with modeling mostly solid
and assembling so I want to evaluate , based on the scores, my weak
points in comparison with my strength to understand how mush should I
practice and put time on those sections

Never mind I assume it is a acronym for Autodesk Certified Professional.
