Maybe this has been resolved but we are looking for a viable solution to publish a single PDF from several individual single and multi-sheet IDW's i.e. different individual file names to one PDF. I have looked at Batch Plotting from Inventor and Vault 2023 and looked at using the Task Scheduler, even tried the Drawing Porter utility (app) from the Autodesk Appstore to attempt this however I keep running into the same issue where it tries creating a bunch in single PDF requiring me to type in the name after creating each file. What I want is to direct print / publish a bunch of .idw files to a single PDF as though it were a scanned in file rather than 80 (or more) single files. Note; this is what we do now is print everything out hard copy and scan... OR we print everything out individually as a PDF and combine using adobe ... this is all way too time consuming. I understand this would be a prodigious sized file but this is how we store project files electronically now.
Using Inventor Vault 2023 or is it possible this has been considered or better yet made an option in later releases as a tool? Might be over shooting my expectations but to select a top level assembly and enter a single PDF name up front and have it find all the associated idw's (all sheets) and publish 1 PDF of all would be ideal. (or impossible).
thanks,
Lukes
