Problem with view representation and new mirror functionality

Dear user/developer,

We frequently use View Representations in the assembly for creating workshop drawings/detail drawings. This usually works well, if you lock the view, it shouldn't change easily.

However, it appears this is no longer working correctly when using the mirror function.

For example, if you've mirrored a few parts and then isolate an original part in View1 and lock it, and you subsequently shift the position of a component, the mirrored part is also added to the view.

Conversely, if you've isolated the mirrored part and then shift something, the parts actually disappear from the view. It's also strange that you cannot turn the visibility on or off for the mirrored part.

This is a major problem for us because the drawings are constantly getting completely messed up.

I'm using Inventor 2026.1.1

I hope there's a solution for this.

I would like to hear from you.

Hi

These features apply to the mirror pattern in associative mode (Inventor 2026).

At this time, you cannot independently manage components controlled by an associative mirror.

You can either change the mirror mode or accept the limitation.
