problem with select side for threading in 2020

Hi,
The side for partial threading is not recognized when using the function with complete default and then changing to partial.

I attach a small video.

in previous versions this event was recognized.

of course. but before choosing the surface I have to remember "full depth OFF".

1-full depth OFF

2-select side surface

in previous versions I didn't have to remember this sequence.

Hi! Yes, there was a behavioral change starting from 2016 or 2017 in this workflow. The change was meant to avoid directional confusion in thread feature.

eventually it would be useful to set the use of the "complete off" function by default.

This solution is more commonly used.
