Dear All,

I'm trying to get my corner reliefshape to be a tear, but somehow in the part attached i'ts not changing its form as shown in the picture below. I've tried a lot of things but i'm not finding the solution..

Hi

You must choose a laser weld corner type. For this purpose, it will be necessary to change the modeling strategy.

Hi,

Thank you so much for this very clear solution!

Unfortunately I'm tring to model exactly the same as your video but the following keeps happing.

When i use Corner seam i can see the proposed corner seam in green is looking good:

1. Schermafbeelding 2024-02-29 114338.png

But then i hit oke and the gap size is bigger then the preview:

I've tried a lot of different tactics but i'ts not working for me.

Any ideas?

I've been trying some more but i cannot manage to recreate your video somehow. I've done everything EXACTLY the same but my corner seam is not closing the gap on 1 side.

In my opinion this has to be a sheet metal default setting right?

It's hard to say anything based on the description.

Record your workflow and attach the file.

Dear,

Sorry late reply, have been on holidays.

As you can see below i (think) do exactly the same as your video. Only the result is different.

Please let me know if you find any differences, or have any clues?

Why didn't you change the relief type in the bend dialog?

Dear,

I've got the corner type changed in my sheet metal defaults. So this is tear on standard.

Greetings Ivo
