Pro Flex tube node flip possible?

Warning Pro novice ahead***

For some reason as I create a route as a flexible hose some of the nodes
flip the wrong way which buggers up the spline sweep (see attached) it does
not seem to matter if I flip the direction when selecting the node. Is there
an easy way to tell this node as seen to flip the other way after its
created?

Thanks
Brian

Brain,

Here is a way you can take a try.
1. firstly, delete the spoiled node and then inset a new node on the
segment.
2. right-click on the newly created node, and then perform Redefine command.
3. select the point or geometry to define the node. Note that if a circular
edge is needed here, pause the cursor over it and press spacebar to flip the
direction of the axis to the appropriate direction.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,
Henry

I am having the same issue. Space or right click do not flip the direction. This used to work in the 2020 version, and I used it constantly. Is anyone going to fix this glitch? Just curious.

I saw there was a Hose Length button now, that is great. Very useful.

Hi! I suspect is is probably due to flipping of the adaptor or the axis. Did you apply a tangent constraint? Could you share an example here?

Many thanks!

Accepted solution

Actually, several days after writing this, the problem resolved and allowed me to 'choose other' and click the direction to set it while hovering over the chosen location in the path.  This is acceptable and I continued my routes.

Now, I am having another issue related to pipe runs, but I will work on it more before asking about it.
