Printing error with graphic view frames overlapping only in 2025

i have document with two isometric model views close together, the component views are like pictured below, but when i print the document the framing box of the foreground model ends up eliminating all color out of the model that sits below it that coincides with the framing box.

i have illustrated this below. i have confirmed it is a 2025 issue.

documents printed in 2024 print fine,

document printed on 2025 created in 2024 have the error

document created in 2025 and printed in 2025 have the error

image 1, as appears on screen and when printed in 2024

image 2, prints as follows on 2025

I've experienced the same issue with creating drawings in 2025. I didn't have this issue with 2024.

I also have this issue with the 2025 version.

Hi! I must not have followed the steps correctly or the issue has been fixed in 2025.2 update. I cannot seem to reproduce the behavior. Please share the Inventor files here. I would like to try exporting the drawing to PDF on my machine.

Many thanks!

Good Morning, Here is a basic file attached showing the issue, also attached is a screenshot of the print preview which shows the error and what it actually prints like.

i have installed the most recent update and this has not resolved the issue, i have also tried using a different plotter and driver with no success, i am certain it is an issue unique to 2025.

Be interested to see if you have the same issue with this file and if you can recreate it?. please let me know how you get on.

Hi Jamie,

Many thanks for sharing the files! I did not follow the steps correctly. I did not use Print to PDF (reproducible). Instead, I tried exporting it to PDF (not reproducible). I have forwarded the issue the project team. The team will take a look to understand it better.

Thanks again!

Hello, @jamie.riggsP5QKA@connor.whitbyQ8QC7  @Bogdan_Vicol @teddy_ives

This is known issue and has been tracked as INVGEN-81003 in our bug system.

Here is workaround solution,

Close Inventor 2025, open the Registry Editor, go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion29.0\System\Preferences\Display,

find the key "Print Drawing Raster Tile Size", set the vault to small one, eg, 100. Start Inventor 2025, print pdf.
