PREVIEW CONSTRAINTS DOES NOT PREVIEW

Just sometimes Inventor doesn't feel like previewing.  I have to hit accept for it to create, then show me what it looks like.  Preview box check does nothing. Anyone else experienced this and know why?  Thanks

I think it does that with adaptive parts and maybe some others too..

the only thing weird about the part (today) is it came from SW.  However, the next one I import works fine.  No apparent difference.

Post the original files (swx and your ipt just in case) if you want it addressed..

More specifically if you are concerned and want to spend time on it (more time than its worth IMO) then open a support ticket with Autodesk and share the files so the can see whats going on..

It does happen with certain files.. some I think Autodesk calls a "limitation".. others are just a slightly corrupted file I suppose..

I'm starting a new assembly that's going to get big and used often.  So, worth figuring out if it keeps happeneing.  Thanks for the help, the problem was the first part was adaptive.
