Pressure Vessel Modeling

Hi,

i have stumbled upon one of the Autodesk Inventor products (Inverntor Professional), and i have the following questions regarding this product:

1- Is this program designed to also model Pressure Vessels?

2- I read under the "Compare" tab, that "Inventor Professional" has access to "Catalog/purchased/standard part library" which includes more than 1 million components. Does this mean that a database is provided with "Inventor Professional" from which we can use parts to model Pressure Vessels?

Best Regards,

Khalid

Hi,

  1. Inventor is a 3d cad modeling program for engineering. In Inventor you can design basically everything and make technical drawings for that design. Although I don't really know what your trying to model and make in the future, Inventor should be more then capable to design pressure vessels. Look at youtube and search for "pressure vessel Inventor" for examples of modeling just that.
  2. The content center is full with fasteners, Structural shapes etc. And if it does not contain what you need you can edit it yourself.

Hope it helps.
