Preparations Showing on 2D Drawing of Welded Assembly

Hi there,

I have a weldment assembly that has multiple preparations (mainly chamfers) and welds. This assembly does have sub-assemblies and all the preparations and welds have been applied on this top level assembly.

I have created an IDW and placed a view of the assembly. I want to show the assembly without any preparations or welds so I have edited the drawing view, gone to the model tab, and changed the weldment to assembly.

The drawing view updates and the welds are hidden, but the chamfers from the preparations are still visible...

Projected views show the chamfers, however section views are hiding the chamfers...

Below is a view that is showing the preparations on parts of the assembly.

The view is set to Assembly in the Drawing View settings.

This is detail view D, where the preparations are not shown.

Is there something I can do to force the main view and the projected views to update to show correctly?

What else could be causing this inconsistency of how the views are displaying the assembly?

This seems to have solved itself. I restarted Inventor and changed the view type to welding and then back to assembly and all the views are now showing correctly.
