Pre-Defined List of Different View Labels

Hi,

We have a requirement where we need to display different information on a view label depending on what the view is.

I was wondering if there is any way to be able to switch between different label easily without having to input the information again???

So, I want different options for the display.

I know you can edit it via the pencil, but I'm having to delete the standard information and put in the other information. Just want to automate it for everyone.

I believe in a later release there is the ability to have standard note you can easily bring through when you’re on the text editor but have been told you can’t do it for view labels.

Example -

Sometimes I need this

And then sometimes I need this (Part Number)

And so on and so on, for other information.

Best Regards

Jonny

Hi

I would consider creating a set of presets in the Text Editor in a free text box or Leader.

I have addressed a similar need by having multiple Standards in the Styles and Standards Editor.  Since you can only define one view label for each type of view in a Standard, I got around it with having different Standards for different types of drawings.

If your requirements aren't that predictable from one drawing to another, you could still edit the Standard's view label settings in that particular drawing, to at least eliminate the need to manually set up the label for multiple views in that drawing.

Hi Kacper,

This is probably the idea I will go with, Maybe I need to suggest it as an idea?

Hi,

This is a great idea! I dont like the idea of having different standards, but it makes the most sense.

Thanks for your response!
