Point to surface constrain

Hi

I want to mate a bearing to a disc. The idea is to easily drag the disk around  and "simulate" when the bearing moves in and out on the hight difference on the disk. The problem seems to bee that the center axis of the bearing is not related to the disc with a constant angel. Thats why im thinking of doing a point to surface. The problem then is that i cant choose the whole surface, just a part of the surface.

Someone who knows a solution for this?

Hi, there is no point to surface constraint

(here an idea: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/assembly-constraint-mate-point-surface/idi-p/5173383)

You can use the "transitional" constraint (it can be a little unstable)

Or use the Dynamic Simulation enviroment if you want to really simulate that

Hi

I tried that but i cant select the center point of the bearing when using the "transitional" constrain...
Can i send over the files to you. maybee its easier?

Note that this Idea is archived and can't be voted on, it will need to be revived (either brought back from the archive  by an admin or posted again).

In this image your components appear to be interfering?

How does that work in the real world?

There are a myriad of motion Joints available in Inventor, but you will have to engage in bi-directional communication to get help on learning how to use them...
