Pearson vue/certiport certification

Hello anyone/everyone, I have to test my students on Inventor ACU. I have spent the last semester training my students from the Gmetrix website. Now I took the actual ACU test myself last Saturday, and discovered the Gmetrix test does not have anything in common with the certiport test. I could answer 58 of the 60 questions on Gmetrix, but when I took the certiport test my grade was a 20%. Gmetrix was a total waste of 5 months of my classes time. We need to start over from scratch. Can anyone tell me what training package would be best for this. Please respond only if you know. I do not want opinions. thanks

Besides the obvious, just learning Inventor from practical use, you can go to the Certiport site and reference listing learning materials.  The even list the objectives covered on the ACU and ACP exams,  Since you mentioned the ACU here is the link to those objectives.  Centiport also offers practice exams that you can purchase which are very close to the exam format.  I have also use Ascent textbooks for preparation for certification exams.  Here is a link to their certification study and review text, Inventor is listed on this page.

I had to be certified in my last job in both AutoCAD and Inventor as well as proctor the Autodesk certification exams before Certiport took over the job. I would like to offer one key piece of advice before taking the exam.  Make sure the installed copy of Inventor has been reset to an out-of-the box configuration before beginning the exam.  As a proctor, I used the Inventor Reset Utility to do this to each exam workstation.  The reason, if someone has changed the settings, some answers maybe reported with a precision value that does not match the correct answer of the exam.
