Pattern Function Faulty

I created a simple part, and added three simple features (threaded hole, cut extrusion and a fillet radius on the cut extrusion) to a pattern. The fillet does not show on the pattern, I ran a rebuild all with no luck and when I highlight the pattern the fillet is outlined, but the model does not show the fillet on the patterned positions.

I can of course manually add the fillets to each cut out OR I can also create a second pattern for just the fillets. Neither option is efficient. This technique has worked for me for the last 10 years, so I am hoping this is just a glitch can be fixed.

I have attached the .ipt file

Also, this issue is repeatable. I created another part that was even more simple and saw the same issue.

I hate to say this is a solution, but what happens if you re-start Inventor?

Hi! This is a limitation. I don't believe restarting or reinstalling or rebuild all will fix it. Patterning Fillet is a bit tricky sometimes. It works well when the features that create the geometry all participate in the pattern. In this case, the outer fillets are on the edges created by the cut and the main plate. The cut is patterned but the main plate is not. As a result, the fillets cannot be replicated.

I just tried it on Fusion 360. The Circular Pattern seems to work well in this case. You may want to take a look.

Many thanks!
